Downtime

There is minimal to no downtime. Some patients may experience temporary redness or tenderness.

Recovery

As with any surgical procedure, you will need to plan some time off to take it easy. You will experience a bit some swelling and bruising after a breast lift. A support bra will help with any swelling and should be worn 24 hours a day. This is an important part of your recovery, as it will support your breasts while healing. Most patients feel up to returning to non-strenuous activities in about a week. A breast lift can be a transformative procedure.
