June Hill is a San Diego native and a licensed Holistic Health Practitioner that has been practicing massage, bodywork, body contouring, and post-operative care for patients in the Med-Spa Industry for the last 16+ years. Due to June’s excellent work ethic and expertise, her patients love her treatments, and her honesty about realistic expectations and results.
Over the years, June has been trained, and certified in 12 different technologies, all centered around medical massage and lymphatic work. Her work is focused on skin tightening, cellulite improvement, and inch loss for body contouring, as well as post-operative treatment for patient care.
Highlights in her career include, leading a massage therapy team of 13 at the #1 medical spa in the country for many years. During that time, she trained and developed the staff, wrote the body care portion of the spa menu, as well as created protocols for all body care and post-operative treatments. She has taught at a local holistic health college, consulted and trained staff at other doctor’s offices and medical spas.
June has been happily married for 15 years, and has 3 beautiful children that she loves spending time with. Her hobbies include cooking and baking, Jazzercise, reading, and spending time with extended family and close friends
Gina Oleston is a master medical esthetician with twenty years experience in the esthetics field. Gina loves to help others feel their best and her warm personality makes you feel comfortable immediately.
By staying current on all innovative skincare trends and products she is able to create high performance results driven facial treatments. Gina feels aging is not a choice but everyone can choose to age beautifully and she enjoys working with you to make that happen.
Gina has a huge heart for those that struggle with acne but specifically her teenage patients. When working with teens she focusing on building lifelong healthy skin care habits and transforming their skin as well as their self-esteem.
Gina is passionate about educating her patients on proper skin care and creating customized skin care plans that accommodate her patient’s lifestyle as well as their specific skin care needs.
Gina takes great joy in participating in the lives of her patients by giving them the beautiful healthy skin they desire as well as building lifelong relationships. Many of her patients have been coming to her for services for over fifteen years.

Erika De Santis has been in the Plastic Surgery Dermatology industry for more than 10 years. She graduated Cum Laude with her BSN in 2010 from National University. She has had the opportunity to be trained by world renowned doctors, giving her the expertise to perfect her techniques. Erika is known for building trust with her clients by listening to their needs, providing informative options, and administering thorough, attentive care.
Erika always helps her clients identify and create a personalized look that is subtle, natural, and aesthetically pleasing. She works carefully with her patients to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction. Her #1 goal to exceed her patient’s expectations every time!
Katie Hamp Front Office
Katie Hamp was born in York England, and came over to the United States with her family, and has lived in San Diego for 29 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. Katie has a passion for esthetics, and loves working at Esthetica of San Diego.
Katie’s enthusiasm is reflected in the way she interacts with patients . Katie’s welcoming smile makes Esthetica of San Diego a comforting place to come.
Amanda Thomas Registered Dietitian
Amanda is a Registered Dietitian who received her degree in Food & Nutrition from San Diego State University. Amanda then went on to complete her Dietetic Internship through Utah State University in order to attain her RD credential. Her passion has always been in outpatient weight loss counseling, where she continues to make it her goal to see patients achieve success by getting to their target weight.
Amanda has dramatically improved the lives of many patients by helping them lose anywhere from 10 – 50 pounds through her own weight loss programs. She consistently continues her education in dietetics by attending conferences and seminars throughout the country, where she focuses on weight loss programs, bariatrics, diabetes, and cardiac health.
Vanessa Rivera Certified Surgical Tech / Medical Assistant
Vanessa was born and raised in San Diego county, She previously worked as a Medical Assistant in a OB-GYN office in north county and in 2014 returned back to school and finished her career as a Surgical Technologist.
She enjoys spending time with her 2 nieces and loves baking with her sister. Vanessa also has a rambunctious chocolate Labrador retriever named Bella who is 6yrs old, She spends some of her free time going on walks with Bella to the beach or around her neighborhood.
Tina Murdock Nurse Anesthetist
Tina was born in the Tongan Islands and raised in Idaho. She spent a year and a half serving as a missionary in the Philippines 1990-1991. Tina graduated from the University of Utah in 1998 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She immediately started working in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit. In 2001 she returned to school and earned a Masters Degree in Anesthesia from the Medical School of the University of South Carolina in 2004.
Tina thoroughly enjoys the art and science of providing a high quality, personalized anesthetic for each and every patient. Her goal is for every patient to enjoy a caring, calming, pain free surgical experience. She loves working at Esthetica and wants everyone to have a wonderful surgical experience.
Megan Von Keohe Office Manager
Megan joined the Esthetica of San Diego team in 2014 as Front Office Manager. She joined Dr. Kouli after working for another local aesthetic medical office for over 2 years. Her education and back ground in restaurant management and as a paralegal serves her primary focus of building patient relationships.
She is dedicated to helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals by being a warm and caring Patient Advocate. As a Patient Liaison, she will be there to answer any questions you may have before and after your visit as well as help bridge a positive and open relationship with our practice.
Julie Schuettenhelm O.R. Manager
Julie is our Medical Assistant & Surgical Technician who has worked alongside Dr. Kouli since he opened his practice in Coronado. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the cosmetic surgery field. She works closely with Dr. Kouli to help with the clinical responsibilities of patient care and treatment. She is also great for answering any of your questions regarding recovery and post-operative care. She does a great job to ensure each patient is as comfortable as can be before and after surgery.
Julie’s friendly personality is a great asset to our surgery center. Outside the office, Julie is a very active volunteer and board member at Lions, Tigers & Bears Sanctuary in Alpine. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends whether is be fishing in Yosemite with her husband and son. Nascar races with her parents and sisters, camping at the beach with her friends, or taking care of the many animals at LBT wherever and whatever it is as long as she is with her family, friends, or animals she is happy.
Karenne Ruiz Surgical Nurse
Karenne, RN, BSN, began her nursing career in 2010, at Scripps Telemetry Unit, after graduating from National University with Cum Laude Honors. For the past two years, she has received her chemotherapy certification and is charge nurse at UCSD Health. She always dreamed of transitioning into aesthetic nursing and that dream became possible in 2011.
Karenne works in all phases of nursing at Esthetica of San Diego, including the operating room, pre-op and recovery. Her empathy and compassion for her patients is easy to see and she is dedicated to understanding their needs and making them feel supportive each step of the way.
Outside of the office, Karenne likes to stay active and enjoys working out and hiking as well as watching sunsets, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. In addition to nursing, traveling is another passion of hers. Karenne enjoys volunteering for the Loloma Foundation and just completed her first medical mission in reconstructive surgery in Fiji. She enjoys experiencing new cultures while learning about the country’s history and visiting historical landmarks.
Barbara McCoy Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Barbara McCoy is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, a Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional, a Medical Legal Expert and Consultant, and a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in Plastic Surgery.
During her anesthesia career, Barbara has worked extensively with plastic surgeons both in the U.S.A. and Mexico with various volunteer organizations. Her extensive background in medicine along with her avid interest in art, skin care and makeup enable her to provide her patients with the highest quality of services.
Barbara was interviewed in the January of 2006 issue of the Ranch and Coast Magazine.
In 2004 and 2005 Barbara gave presentations at Dr. Hugh Greenway's and UCSD's Annual Symposium on Superficial Anatomy and Cutaneous Surgery (Medical Tattooing) in San Diego.
Kim Mosh Cosmetic Consultant
Kim Mosh was born in Germany and moved to La Jolla at the age of 7. Loving her new environment Kim continued her college education in San Diego at the University of San Diego, where she received her B.A. in Communication Studies emphasis in speech and minor in Business Administration. She always had a sincere passion for aesthetics. During her college years she got a lot of exposure to the field and loved it. After college she dove into medical device sales with cross training doing marketing and consultations for surgeons.
With 14 years of experience in the industry, Kim has vast knowledge of cosmetic procedures combined with a passion to help people achieve their desired results. Kim is straightforward as well as compassionate to the patients needs.
In Kim’s personal time she likes to walk along the beach and train in martial arts. Kim is fluent in German and Farsi.
Veronica Rodriguez Practice Manager
Veronica is our practice manager at our Del Mar location, and recently celebrated her 16 year anniversary with the practice. She has a strong background in the customer service and cosmetic industry. She was a traveling artist Estee Lauder, and MAC make-up artist at Nordstrom. She loves talking to patients and making sure they have a legendary experience with our practice.
Veronica has 3 beautiful children, was born and raised in San Diego County. Her hobbies include soccer, softball, hiking and spending time with her family.
Veronica strives to give the best customer service, and enjoys to see patients happy with their results.
Susan graduated from nursing school in 2004 and started her career in critical care in the surgical and medical ICU. After several years at Northridge Hospital, she traveled and worked in some of Los Angeles’s best hospitals, including Cedar Sinai, Kaiser West L.A. Hospital, And Huntington Hospital. She then moved to Orange County and began working at Mission Hospital and University of California Irvine there she began special training for wound care, and recovery at UCI Medical Center she found a passion for burn victims in the Burn ICU and dermatology care. During this time Susan also found time in Orange County and traveled to Peru, South America and Cambodia for several Medical Missions with Hand of Hope Organization.
In the year 2008, Susan graduated from The College of Medical Aesthetics, while there she received special certification in Botox and derma fillers, lasers and phototherapy, also chemical peels. In 2012 Susan began her career in aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery at Athenix Microbody Contouring in Irvine, California. She continue her aesthetic education through many workshops, courses, training and conferences. Which has brought her to Esthetica of San Diego and Del Mar Cosmetic Center.
Susan loves the science and the results of Aesthetic Medicine, which drives her to continually practice good medicine. She often states “Looking good, starts with Feeling good”.
